On November 30th, Dynamic Yield, a subsidiary specializing in digital personalization and artificial intelligence under Mastercard, announced the launch of its own AI chatbot called Shopping Muse.
According to the announcement, Shopping Muse is described as an “advanced AI tool that revolutionizes how consumers search for and discover products within a retailer’s digital catalog.”
What sets Mastercard’s AI chatbot apart from others is that users can make simple language requests within the context of the online market, and the AI system will generate personalized suggestions through a process Dynamic Yield refers to as algorithmic content blending.
This aligns with the description provided by Ori Bauer, CEO of Dynamic Yield, who stated: “Personalization brings consumers the shopping experience they desire, and AI-driven innovation is the key to unlocking a rich and tailored online shopping experience. By harnessing the power of AI within Shopping Muse, we are meeting consumer standards and making shopping smarter and more seamless than ever.”
It’s worth noting that Mastercard acquired Dynamic Yield in 2022 from McDonald’s, and Dynamic Yield takes pride in serving hundreds of clients with 400 partner brands.
Recently, Mastercard also partnered with Feedzai, an AI company specializing in financial fraud detection. The company’s software will be integrated into Mastercard’s proprietary security stack.
