I know that the most discussed topic in the Pi Network’s Pioneers community is the launch of the Open Mainnet (OM). It’s been almost 5 years since March 14, 2019, and during this time, I’m saddened to hear that some Pioneers have passed away before they could witness the OM launch. Some Pioneers were eagerly awaiting KYC but did not receive it before their passing.
It’s truly heart-wrenching, and I hope that all the Pioneers who have passed away find peace in heaven and that the Pi in their wallets will be transferred to their descendants.
I’ve also observed that many Pioneers are experiencing anxiety, causing them pain and depression. Some have even fallen victim to ruthless scammers.
I’m here to offer support to all Pioneers worldwide. I have a background in economics, finance, accounting, and taxation, holding two bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Accounting, along with a previous Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in the United States. Currently, I work as a tax expert in the United States, and I have a strong self-learning capability. With my previous role as a financial manager, I have the knowledge to deeply understand the whitepaper and the profound significance of the work of Dr. Nicolas and Dr. Fan. However, my analysis is based on my credentials, and I do not represent the Core Team as I have never contacted them.
Each person has a different perspective on the project, but only one of them is correct. This also applies to the path to success for the Pi Network. When we deeply understand the whitepaper of the Pi Network, we grasp the spirit of Pi! Having the same mission and vision as the Pi Network gives us strong confidence and an unwavering attitude. We understand that the road to success is challenging, but we will never give up because the Pi Network is a gem! We have been fortunate to encounter the Pi Network and have been with it for nearly 5 years. We are very grateful to have Dr. Nicolas and Dr. Fan leading us.
Most Pioneers have different opinions on the KYC and migration process. While it may seem to be in a standstill, I feel reassured because I know the Core Team (CT) is reliable and determined to succeed. They recognize that the conditions are not met, so they have to protect the project. This also reflects their strong financial support.
👉 All Pioneers need to understand that the delay in the OM launch is not due to the CT. It’s because of our very own Pioneers. I want to clarify that it’s not because Pioneers haven’t completed the mainnet checklist. I believe many Pioneers check it daily to ensure everything is correct. However, the issue is that KYC and migration haven’t occurred because they haven’t been released. Do you remember when the CT announced the mass KYC last year? Did it actually happen?
In reality, no! Why?
Because Pioneers buy and sell. The CT can see that the blockchain profiles show the actual average price of Pi is around 10 cents. Can they continue with mass KYC and migration in this risky situation? From my perspective, if they still proceed with mass KYC and migration, Pi will fail, and there will be no chance for it to become a currency anymore. So, they pause and rescue Pi from failure. They cannot tell us it’s because of the price because the price is the Pioneers’ task, and they cannot say anything. They can only wait for Pioneers to assess Pi at the right value.
Most Pioneers are misinformed and don’t know the real reason, so they complain and lose trust in the CT. That’s why I think I should step up to provide my analysis, and I believe my analysis is reasonable. Because all projects must focus on their mission, they have to protect it when they see the project heading in the wrong direction.
👉 Many Pioneers eagerly anticipate exciting news, but I believe there is only one essential news for the OM, which comes from the Pioneers. This is because the CT has taken good care of condition 1 and has almost completed it, with only condition 2 remaining for Pioneers to fulfill.
👉 Condition 2 may seem simple: Pioneers just need to complete a checklist. However, there are two hidden conditions that need to be met: consensus price and project security. Consensus price is necessary for the healthy development of the ecosystem, while project security is crucial to prevent activities on the black market. If these two conditions are not met, the CT must control the pace of KYC and migration.
👉 According to the V2 roadmap, the CT hopes to launch the OM in 2024, but they cannot assist with condition 2 because it’s the Pioneers’ task. However, they have observed that GCV 314,159 has been applied offline, so they organized PiFest and Pi Commerce Hackathon to use it offline. These efforts aim to achieve Pi Network’s long-term goals and will serve as the main development of the ecosystem, leading to more ecosystem development later at the GCV price.
👉 The question is whether the CT will open KYC and migration randomly. This is highly unlikely because they will select the safest and most active regions with a suitable price for Pi’s long-term success. This will introduce a competitive mechanism between different countries and regions, allowing the OM to arrive quickly.
👉 Currently, the Philippine Epimall will be a platform to create GCV worth 314,159 Pi. It’s essential to remember that all businesses have their own laws, focused on profit. The Pi ecosystem operates under similar principles. So, I advise you to start with small items that can be purchased with full Pi payments. This will create an impact on GCV, and offline Pioneers can generate GCV data. The next step is to introduce an incentive mechanism that allows merchants to accept partial FIAT payments and be willing to participate. Since Pi is still in a closed mainnet state, only the internal community can accept it as a payment. They still have to pay all expenses and expenditures with FIAT. So, we generate GCV data while offering them the ability to offset FIAT to ensure sustainability. Otherwise, the ecosystem will die in the closed mainnet phase.
👉 As we attract more businesses selling medium and high-end products, more will be willing to accept Pi as a payment. This will make Pi more accessible and affordable for our Pioneers, who can buy medium and high-quality products at lower prices with FIAT. The result is that we can create a large amount of GCV data.
👉 While this is a temporary measure, after the OM, all 10 million Pioneers can use Pi as 100% payment. Building a successful payment system takes time and effort, so we can use Pi as partial payment with GCV. When more Pioneers support GCV, merchants will be more confident in accepting Pi as full payment. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so we should work together for the GCV OM goal!
👉 Epimall is an online ecosystem that has attracted Pioneers and merchants from over 50 countries. We also have many offline exchange activities to create daily GCV data. When we start using Pi for payments more frequently, it will encourage more Pioneers to stop selling. This requires education and effort from everyone. Please remember that Epimaill previously had many low-priced items in GCV. But they will soon be removed, and from 2/12-3/12, there will be offline exchange activities for small products from 3 to 10 GCV. This is like a test and fixes for issues. Then start with medium-priced items.
👉 I have strong faith in Pi Network OM in 2024 because I see many Pioneers realizing their responsibility, and recently, I can see most posts supporting GCV! That’s fantastic! Many thanks to the community leaders of many countries, merchants, and the hard work of Pioneers. Only we can accelerate OM. We have wasted over a year, but if we work diligently, we can help many Pioneers achieve their dreams and enjoy financial freedom quickly. There’s no reason to complain about anyone; it’s pointless, and it brings bad luck. We should do it for ourselves right now! Because what we expect comes from our own hands!
👉 How can we help with this process?
1. Share all my posts, videos, and other GCV posts, videos, and good news everywhere.
2. Organize local exchange activities or participate in Epimall or, in the future, the Pi Commerce Hackathon competition.
3. Find temporary work if you don’t have a job to support yourself for 3-6 months. Don’t sell your Pi.
4. Please don’t buy Pi or use low GCV prices for the ecosystem.
👉 If everyone can do a little, it will help your region have more KYC and migration. We don’t need all KYC and migration for the OM. As long as we have 10 million good-quality Pioneers or fewer, we have a strong ecosystem and can OM successfully! For other Pioneers, the CT will let you pass KYC and migration based on risk control decisions or other factors.
👉 My analysis above doesn’t address condition 3 because it’s an uncontrollable condition. We don’t need to worry too much about it. If we keep a calm spirit and pray for our Pi Network, we will receive global energy to make everything go well.
Let’s work diligently to educate, promote GCV, and create more GCV data! I believe 2024 will be very successful!
