In March, the Web3 community of NounsDAO approved a proposal to create a multi-episode animated series based on NFTs.
Notably, in collaboration with Atrium, a network of independent Web3 artists and creators, the series titled “Nouns: A Movie” is expected to offer unique cinematic experiences for users through NFTs. With this model, film producers can alleviate some concerns about copyright issues.
After nearly 3 months of scripting and development, the first episode of the “Nouns: A Movie” series has now been officially released to the public. Titled “The Rise of Blus: A Nouns Movie,” it was penned by former animators from Pixar, Netflix, and Marvel, with a budget of $2.75 million.
Significantly, due to the fully remote production process, the production costs were significantly lower compared to traditional media methods.
Prior to that, Atrium’s 3DprintGuy introduced a sponsored short film by NounsDAO. All the major characters in the project were released as NFTs.
Furthermore, the NounsDAO community is also approving several new proposals to expand the ecosystem. In February, the group voted to develop a comic book series with publisher Titan Comics and the NFT ComicsDAO community.
