Shortly after John Ray confirmed that FTX has started the process of relaunching the trading platform, FTX promptly sent notifications to creditors regarding asset compensation.
According to the announcement posted by FTX, the asset compensation request portal is expected to open on 03/07/2023, and creditors are required to submit asset claims by 03:00 on 30/09/2023.
Creditors are required to provide information about themselves, the types of assets they hold in their platform accounts at the time of the platform’s collapse (fiat, crypto, or NFT), and the converted value in USD.
FTX is currently in the process of sending email notifications to users.
The FTX receiver recently released a report on the state of the exchange. The report indicates a somewhat optimistic outlook as FTX has recovered $7 billion in assets, while customer liabilities amount to $8.7 billion. Additionally, the report reveals the misconduct and concealment schemes of the former FTX leadership.
Furthermore, FTX is making efforts to relaunch the exchange within this year.
