On July 22nd, the Twitter community was once again abuzz with discussions about LayerZero conducting a snapshot for an upcoming airdrop to prepare for the token release, following the appearance of ZRO price index on Binance’s interface.
Specifically, when accessing Binance’s website, under the “Crypto Price” section, users can find the token code of the project named LayerZero, referred to as ZRO.
Not only LayerZero’s ZRO, but Binance also listed several tokens from other upcoming projects, such as Metamask (MASK), zkSync (TBD),…..
Binance’s customer support account has responded, stating that “Binance has no news related to the listing of ZRO or other tokens (such as MASK, TBD…). Any information about the listing of ZRO (if any) will be announced by Binance on its official media channels.”
Previously, information about the LayerZero token ZRO appeared on the token data aggregation websites CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. This led to speculation within the community that LayerZero had taken a snapshot and was awaiting an official announcement regarding the airdrop and token launch. However, as of now, the project has not made any official announcements regarding the ZRO token.
