According to the latest announcement from Starknet, the project has initiated the Early Community Member Program (ECMP).
This program will airdrop up to 50 million STRK tokens to individuals who have made significant contributions to technical discussions, participated in important ecosystem projects, organized Starknet-related events, and regularly published content about Starknet. The value of these tokens cannot be estimated as they are not yet traded on the market. However, these rewards could help Starknet develop and maintain its community, especially during the current cryptocurrency market downturn.
To receive STRK tokens, individuals and projects need to apply for sponsorship and provide detailed information about their contributions. The registration process will continue until November 19, 2023, and the list of recipients will be announced before December 29, 2023.
Here are the steps for individuals who meet the eligibility criteria:
Step 1: Visit https://ecmp.starknet.io/ and log in with your Telegram account. Step 2: Fill in your information, including email, Discord, Twitter, GitHub, and wallet address. Step 3: Describe your contributions and submit them to the project.
Additionally, you can join the Starknet community at https://community.starknet.io/ and actively engage in discussions and interactions to increase your chances of receiving a Starknet airdrop slot.
Starknet Foundation was established in November 2022 after the developers of StarkWare created 10 billion STRK tokens. However, as of now, these tokens have not been released or traded. The Starknet Foundation holds 50.1% of the initial token supply (10 billion STRK), meaning they own approximately 5 billion STRK tokens.
Currently, Starknet is the sixth-largest Layer 2 blockchain, with a total locked value (TVL) of $143 million.
