According to the movement report by Lookonchain, today on July 13th, a gigantic whale holding 101.47 trillion SHIB tokens worth $756 million has transferred 4 trillion SHIB tokens worth $29.8 million to 8 new addresses.
This is the whale known as “0x1406,” owning 10.15% of the total SHIB token supply and being the largest holder of Shiba Inu.
Previously, in 2020, the whale purchased 103.33 trillion SHIB tokens for 38 ETH (approximately $14,000). Later, they sold 603 trillion SHIB for 2411 ETH, worth $9.6 million, and sold 1.25 trillion SHIB, valued at $8.77 million, to the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase in 2021. Currently, the whale still holds 101.47 trillion SHIB, worth $756 million, distributed across 23 wallets.
According to Spot on Chain, this whale last made a transaction 157 days ago when it purchased 7,049 SHIB tokens. The main wallet “0x1406” currently still holds 6.20 trillion SHIB, valued at $46 million.
The news came after Shytoshi Kusama, a top developer of Shiba Inu, confirmed the Worldpaper and the highly anticipated release of L2 Shibarium at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada, on August 13-17, 2023.
In addition, the Shiba Inu ecosystem will have Doggy DAO and SHIB DOGGY DAO FOUNDATION, where the decisions of the DAO are implemented and the assets of the DAO are held.
Meanwhile, ShibaSwap’s Bone token (BONE) has surged 82% in one month. The community believes that the price could reach $3 after the launch of Shibarium.
