On November 3rd, the web3 company Treehouse officially announced its acquisition of the intellectual property assets of the Origins Analysis platform. However, the deal’s financial details were not disclosed.
Now, Origins will become a part of Treehouse and provide NFT services, such as an algorithmically tagged NFT wallet notification system, NFT analysis bots, and NFT wallet profile APIs.
Origins Analysis is an enterprise-grade NFT data analytics platform that utilizes both on-chain and off-chain data. Origins boasts a strong community with over 10,000 users. In 2022, the Origins founding team successfully raised $4 million.
As for Treehouse, it is a Web3 company that converts on-chain data into meaningful metrics to assist DeFi investors in making informed financial decisions.
In 2021, Treehouse raised $18 million in its seed round from investors including Lightspeed, MassMutual, Binance, Mirana, LeadBlock, Jump, GSR, and Wintermute. The company has stated that it is actively exploring additional mergers and acquisitions.
Regarding their expansion into the NFT space, Brandon Goh, CEO of Treehouse, said, “Despite the market downturn, Treehouse continues to expand and actively seeks opportunities for synergistic business acquisitions. NFTs represent an incredibly promising field.”
