Blockchain monitoring service Whale Alert recorded large Bitcoin transactions for the day totaling 20,470 BTC, or more than $526 million.
Among them, the largest Bitcoin transaction of the day involved a wealthy investor transferring 10,205 BTC, worth $261.32 million, from one wallet to another.
According to Whale Alert, a Bitcoin whale pays only $35.73 to move large amounts of BTC.
Additionally, another crypto whale transferred 3,912 BTC worth $101 million between unknown wallets, with a processing fee of around $50.
Whale Alert also recorded the transfer of 3,190 BTC worth $81.54 million from the Kraken exchange to an unknown wallet, for a fee of just $74.62.
In another transaction, a whale transferred 2,264 BTC worth $59.62 million from an unknown wallet to Coinbase exchange for a fee of $131.67.
Additionally, a major Bitcoin investor paid less than $20 to move 899 BTC worth $23 million from the Binance exchange to an unknown wallet.
Major Bitcoin transactions took place while BTC price rose from a weekly low of $24,864 to a high of $26,676, an increase of more than 7%.
