In the second auction of 3AC’s rare NFT collection, Sotheby’s raised nearly $11 million. The work Ringers #879 has been sold for an impressive price of up to 6.2 million USD.
This auction took place in New York on June 16, with 37 NFT works from the Grails collection of famous artists such as Dmitri Cherniak, Tyler Hobbs, Jeff Davis…
Notably, most of the NFT works in the auction sold for a higher price than estimated, helping Sotheby’s collect $ 10.9 million. This shows that although the NFT market has been quiet after the fever in 2021, investors’ interest is still very large in this “fun”.
Some of the impressive NFT pieces in the auction include Ringers #879 sold for $6.2 million, Fidenza #479 sold for $622,300, Chromie Squiggle #1780 sold for $635,000, and Autoglyph # 218 and Archetype #397 sold for $330,200.
Sotheby’s opened an NFT auction of 3AC’s Grails collection in April and has raised nearly $17 million from the collection’s liquidation to date.
