OpenAI, the creator of the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT, has released ChatGPT Enterprise, a chatbot version designed for businesses that is said to be faster, safer, and more powerful.
In a post on August 28th, the company explained that ChatGPT Enterprise offers unlimited access to GPT-4 with double the performance speed and the ability to process 32,000 tokens of context window for input.
Since one token roughly corresponds to about 4 characters of English text, the 32,000-token model can handle around 24,000 words of text in a single input—roughly four times that of the standard GPT-4.
OpenAI stated that ChatGPT Enterprise also enhances the security and privacy standards of GPT-4 as it doesn’t use company data to train OpenAI models and adheres to SOC 2 compliance—a standard for managing customer data.
OpenAI revealed that the enterprise product was launched in response to an “unprecedented demand” for ChatGPT products since its initial launch on November 30th, with over 80% of Fortune 500 companies applying AI tools to some extent. The company explained:
“They are using ChatGPT to create clearer communication, expedite coding tasks, quickly find answers to complex business questions, support creative work, and much more.”
OpenAI is also exploring a self-serve business tool that allows ChatGPT to expand its knowledge into a company’s data.
Cryptocurrency companies are continuing to experiment with AI as a means to address numerous issues, ranging from tackling climate change to bringing more transparency to the music industry and ensuring privacy of on-chain data.
